Misspell Book

The Misspell Book is a magical artifact created by Babram Marsk, a Kinemancer from the distant past. It allows the user to cast a small set of unique spells whose names are misspelled versions of other spells. It is currently in the possession of Kaladin Rakkan, who retrieved it from the floating Kinemancer island above Mount Wadewick.

Powers

The Misspell book can cast one of three spells once a day: Batapult, Hunter's Bark, and Gloating Disk.

Batapult

Batapult (a misspelling of Catapult) summons a cloud of bats to attack the nearest creatures. It has been used on many occasions by Kaladin Rakkan to distract, disrupt, and interfere with foes.

Hunter's Bark

Hunter's Bark (a misspelling of Hunter's Mark) causes a target's skin to turn to bark.

Gloating Disk

Gloating Disk (a misspelling of Floating Disk) creates a floating plane of force that enhances the charisma of those standing near it.
