Zabbel the Knife was the former ruler of Whaken, and therefore Edfairse. He was killed by the Cloudy Fools in 1297 PR, along with Sogo's group of kobold warriors, the Order of the Invisible Axe.
The name "The Knife" was given to Zabbel for his weapon of choice -- a dagger with a poisoned tip.
