The Museum of Liront is a hidden magical storehouse located underneath the city of Liront in the Sunwalian Theocracy. It serves as a place to store and display the magical items owned and preserved by the Executors of Mystra.

Access

Access to the museum is limited to methods of magical transportation. One of the entrances to the Museum is through a magical painting in a guardhouse in Liront.

Areas

The Museum is divided into multiple rooms, each containing certain types of magical items, such as armor, jewelry, and spell components. Deeper underground, accessible through a secret entrance, is the Legendaries Room, which contains the Museum's most powerful and rare items.

Security

The Museum is protected by many layers of magical and non-magical defense. The boundaries between the rooms in the Museum automatically dispel magic that pass through them.

Legendaries Room

Access to the Legendaries Room was limited to a vending machine which would teleport the people around it into the room if the correct order of snacks were pressed. The Legendaries Room contained its items in large crystals that were extremely heavy and which could only be destroyed via Dispel Magic. The room contained a large magic circle that created a barrier between the center and the outskirts of the room, and which was designed to cast wizard spells of varying level at random.<ref>The effectiveness of this particular defense is highly debatable.</ref> The room was guarded by a dullahan with an amulet of magical protection, who was killed by the party of adventurers who stole the items in the room in 1927 PR.

Notable Items

The Museum contains many magical items, including the Ring of Animal Friendship. The Legendaries Room contained the Potential of Infinity and the Staff of Frost before they were stolen by El, Mahilk Chad, Kaladin Rakkan, and the members of The Pit.
