El, Mahilk Chad, and Kaladin Rakkan came into the possession of the Rod of Security after stealing it from Syrune Evioro's magical storehouse in Drakengar. They have used it on multiple occasions to escape danger or rest.
Beach Butler
Beach Butler is an entity primarily arising from El's desires for smoothies, who often appears in the beach paradise as envisioned by El when he uses the Rod of Security. He is very polite, and does his best to ensure all patrons of the Rod of Security are satisfied and entertained.
