Aleaak

Aleaak is a mountain village composed of Kalashtar in the Hounhilian Empire, and is the birthplace of Mahilk Chad. Mahilk lived here until he was exiled by the high Kalashtar elders.

Foreign Relations

The Kalashtar of Aleaak placed little importance on communicating or trading with other societies outside their walls, preferring a spiritual and psychic focus within their community. Because of this, citizens of Aleaak seldom ventured outside the walls. On occasion designated merchants would leave for their short trade route, to gather staples (certain potion ingredients, metal products, foreign books, and more) which could not be manufactured inside the walls. Young Kalashtar sometimes went outside the walls for spiritual retreats, though would only visit nearby cities in passing. This upset Mahilk Chad, originally from Aleaak, and partially inspired travels from city to city after his exile.
