The Walking Forest is the army of mechs which Skartu is creating under Chion and Fiovaux. There are 34 total mechs of different types. There were originally 36, but two were destroyed by the Cloudy Fools. They are primarily constructed of various types of wood sourced directly from the Feywild, and are powered by a core made of mithral.

  • Abjuration magic around cockpit

Varieties

There are six known varieties of Forest Walkers, each comprised mainly of a distinct type of Feywild wood:

  • Ash: Well-rounded
  • Elm: Magic protection, tank, brute force (to break concentration)
  • Hazel: Slender(man) with axe for one arm, melee/spellcaster split, for covert single-mech operations
  • Oak: largest, over 9ft, focused on damage. Siege unit capabilities.
  • Spruce: Electric club-like arms, roughtly 8ft. in height. Slower than other units.
  • Willow: Assassin for individuals kill operations. Spiked chestplate. Weapons (trident, gun, net) but no magic capabilities. Roughly 7ft. in height. Harder to see in darkness. Roman gladiator-esque in operation.
