In 1298 PR, the [[Executors of Mystra]] declared to the Nucholian Empire the following message in a large Cloudwrite message:

<blockquote>The Jasper Gauntlets belong to the Executors of Mystra. Deliver them to the border within twenty-four hours. Failure to comply will result in a reclaiming of the item through whatever means are deemed appropriate.</blockquote>

The mayor, Isa Chiselcrash-Smeltenny refused to comply, but evacuated the city in anticipation of a battle. At midnight on the following day, a small army of mages affiliated with the Executors of Mystra, as well as two of the (at the time) members of the Triumvirate, [[Ordysa Plainfall]] and [[Doza Farbreeze]], attacked the city. The Executors aimed to retrieve the [[Jasper Gauntlets]], a powerful magical artifact passed down through the family of Isa.

Dorrakh was defended by its mayor and standing army, a squad of warriors sent by the Nucholian Empire, headed by Nucholian military leader [[Jax]], and the adventuring party [[The Cloudy Fools]]. The result of the battle was a retreat by the Sunwalian force following the deaths of both Ordysa Plainfall and Doza Farbreeze.
